I am really dissatisfied with the selections of ringtones on the iphone. I just would like a standard ringtone, that sounds like a cell phone. Also, the volume of the tones on the phone are so low. Frequently, i cannot hear the ringing, and calls are missed. Any suggestions?

Don't understand that reply, but I really can't help you other than to suggest iphone custom ringtones or something. There was a few methods months back to do it :).

    Hallo Everybody,

I am a noob here but i may offer some help in getting songs up as ringtones.

There's an ap you need to download called ibrick. I think i'm using ibrick version 0.91 and my iPhone is a cracked US model now on 1.1.2 firmware.

    1. Select a song in Tunes. Right Click.
    2. Convert to .AAC File.
    3. Once converted to .AAC, go to the file in windows explorer and re-name the file songname.m4r.
    4. Then using ibrick, upload the file.
    5. Note: you can't upload as many songs as you want so be selective.

There are also amp uploads to increase volume (as the standard volume is pretty low).

    Hope that helps.

    Noob out.
