You know, you actually need less sleep than most people imagine.

Lots of people think that 8-9 hours is best, but that's actually a figure that's kinda pulled out of nowhere. Random fact of the day :O.

    Why?

I generally get about 8 hours sleep every night, maybe 9 on weekends max.

    Sleep is Good

I can relate to sleeping more when it rains.

I recall reading the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin; he apparently needed very little sleep to function well. While in college, I tried to get by with drastically less sleep (4-5 hours per night) but I was not able to do well, so I resumed sleeping 8-9 hours each night.
