    Hi.

    I have a Jailbroken/Unlocked iPhone 3G 16Gb on 3.0.
I have everything working fine, but I can't connect to Wifi.
I can see the network, but entering the key will not work.
I have tried a few different networks. I can connect using my laptop. I have tried upper and lower case.
I have tried to connet through "Other" too, and tried WPA, WPA2 and WEP.
I have don a full restore, reset network connections and enabled/disabled airplane mode.

    Any other thoughts?
Does iPhone use the same codes that a laptop would to connect?

I am an iPhone newbie, but done a lot of searching so far on this.

    Thanks,
    Ross.

    Error is:
Failed to join "XXX Network" (This one is at top of screen)
    Or
Unable to join the network "XXX Network" (This is a popup)
When I ipconfig on my laptop (connected to wifi), it's 192.168.0.2
I don't see an IP address on the iPhone.
DHCP seems to be chosen. I haven't touched these settings as wasn't sure what they were.
Should there be information in these boxes? All settings there are blank.
Modem is a Sky Sagem router.

    Thank,
    Ross.

Ck the firewall setting on ur router to ensure that there is proper connection to ur iphone. Disable firewall if required or else add the mac address of ur iphone to ur firewall setting to enable connection. I find dhcp protocol a lot easier, so hopefully checking the firewall settings on ur router shud do the trick
    good luck

You can try restoring. But I am not sure it will work in your case. One of my friends faced the same problems & he got rid of it through this process. Best of luck.
