Best way to stop an iPhone from being nicked by theives.

    It's a fact, it's an expensive piece of hardware, and it does a lot as well. Now, I've never been stolen from, but I know that having one of these is like saying "Bring it on" to a pickpocket.

    Can you recommend a way to stop it being just snatched out of my pocket? Like a chain with a keyring or something to that effect?

    Also, if it does get nicked, is there a means of tracking it's location?

    well, i don't know how to keep it from being stolen from a pocket, other than keeping it concealed or in an actual zipped or velcro pocket.
    But there is a new application, i think it's called Sexy ($1.99), which can help you locate a stolen iPhone. what it does, is that when the person who stole it from you connects it to there computer, they get a fake loading screen with the image of an anime figure on it, but in fact what is happening is that the program is emailing you the coordinates by sending you the ip address of the person's computer, as well as a google maps link showing you its location.
