My Iphone 3g was stolen last year and I reported it to at&t. The police recovered it Friday and when I plugged it into my computer it showed that it was registered to the theif !!! WTF???
Not true. All they got to do is pop a SIM in there and he's good to go. And I believe he has to delete everything from the iPhone to register it with itunes. But not 100% sure
