HI guys, I have a 2G Iphone. Something like 5 months ago i jail broke my iphone to 2.2 firmware and some happy day it just turn into a recovery mode and thats all! ( I remember i got a stupid message when a locked the phone, something like "this doesn't really do anything yet but it / did/ get ready loaded off the server awesome, huh ?") I didn't succeeded to fix the iphone because it not restoring !!! I put the iphone into DFU mode than tried to restore and nothing, it just keeps "Waiting for iphone" and never ends. I tried to do shift restore and select 2.1/2.2/2.2.1/2.0.2 and nothing works it just keep restoring all the time (stock on "waiting for iphone"). Can someone please help me Thanks for everybody and sorry for my stupid English
Try again with DFU mode, if you do it right, you should not get the connect to iTunes logo at all, the phone should be black.
