hi everyone i am having an issue that i cant figure out whenever i connect my iphone 4 to itunes it gives me the follwing message: "this iphone cannot be used because the apple mobile device service is not started" i have never had this error before so what does this mean cause all my drivers and etc are up to date?? pls help would be appreciated Alvi
You need to type in msconfig into the Windows search bar, then go into startup and tick Apple Mobile Device. I imagine either a friend was looking to speed up your computer and made changes or you had a program that did this since you were not sure of the solution. Unfortunately certain startup options are necessary. The only other option, if you dont sync often, is by going into Services.msc via the Windows search bar, and starting the Apple Mobile Device service when you need to sync then switching it back off again afterwards.
