Hi, I am running Windows Vista, and when I would plug my Iphone in, the auto play used to appear. Now it doesn't, but thats the least of my problems. I read that I was supposed to uninstall the apple device driver ( I think thats what its called) then plug the phone back in and the auto play would appear (which it did), but now when it appears, it reads " apple iphone" instead of the name of my Iphone and now it won't appear in Itunes now either. Please help. I just want my computer back the way it used to be.
Try: 1.Plug in the iphone. 2. Open : Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - Devices and Printers. 3.Find the iphone icon - right click and find drivers - click 'update driver'. Should do it.
